5 Things You Should Always Travel With

Do you have your favorite things that you can’t live without?

I know I do, especially when it comes to traveling!

I simply can’t live without some essential items that help me get through the day.

I wanted to share with you what those five things are.

1: ID/Passport

First things first, I always make sure to have my ID with me. It is important to carry your ID with you whether it’s your driver’s license or your passport. You need some form of ID wherever you go to get through security, to make purchases, and to check into a hotel (sometimes). So don’t leave home without it!

2: Extra Battery Pack

I I find that when I am traveling, I use my phone battery a lot faster because I am looking things up and trying to navigate my way around a new places. Add that to time spent on planes & in airports, and my battery drains fast. So I make sure to bring an extra battery pack with me in my purse so I can give my phone some extra juice when needed.

3: Camera

Yes, I know our phones nowadays have pretty good cameras, but there’s nothing like using a camera. Cameras provide a different photography experience and often take even higher quality photos than our phones. P.S. Give your phone a break from snapping all the pictures and videos and explore what an amazing camera can do.

4: Cash

Now, this may sound like a silly thing to have cash with me while I travel, but it is so important. You don’t want to go to checkout somewhere and for them to tell you its cash only. This has happened to me before. So make sure to always hit the ATM before you go anywhere!

5: A reusable water bottle

It's not always easy to access water in certain destinations -- not to mention how brutally hot to humid it can be in certain climates -- so taking a refillable bottle with you is always helpful. Sure, you could purchase water from the store at your destination, but water is often expensive in popular tourist areas or hotels, grocery or convenience stores aren't always nearby, especially in rural areas.

Those are five things that I can’t live without when I travel.
